If you are on vacation in Syracuse and want to see a street full of charm, shops, restaurants, pizzerias and bars you have to go to via Cavour.
It is located in Ortigia and it is the parallel to the right of Corso Matteotti.
I often find this way and I often have my camera in summer and winter.
Below some shots:
I took that picture last November. It was raining and I love walk under it. They’re walking towards me and I made the photo.
Camera: Pentax K-30 with Pentax 35mm Iso 1600 1/50” f2.8
I took that picture in one of rare moments where there is nobody in via Cavour. In this street there are many benches and the people love to seat on.

Alessandro is a street artist.

Aperitive time in via Cavour. Mix of locals and tourists. They are drinking and talking. Great atmosphere
